Payments
Payments are processed on all public holidays. If someone is transferring money to you on a public holiday, you’ll receive the funds the same day. Some organisations may have different payment dates on public holidays, you'll need to contact the organisation to find out more.
If you receive regular MSD payments and your payment is due on a public holiday it may be paid earlier by MSD. This payment will be processed into your account by 11pm on the day the payment is received by Kiwibank.
If you have automatic payments normally set to go out on the day of a public holiday, remember to leave enough funds in your account to cover payments.
