Avoid dishonour fees

  • If you’re setting up future bill payments, you need to make sure there’s enough money in your account on the day to cover the payment.
  • We recommend that you set up any payments to go out the day after you normally get paid. This is the easiest way to make sure you have enough money to cover your payments.

Get started

To set up a bill payment you’ll need the bank details of the company or person you want to pay. Log in to internet banking and select the Pay & Transfer tab from the menu at the top, then Pay a bill (for a company) or Pay someone (for an individual person).

If you don't use internet banking, you can call us on 0800 11 33 55 to make a payment, or visit your local Kiwibank.

You can add or delete bill payments at any time – just log in to internet banking or give us a call.
