With direct debits, you give organisations the authority to take regular payments from your account automatically, so you don't have to worry about remembering to make a payment.

How it works

  • Direct debit payments can be for the same amount or can change each time, depending on your bill.

  • Organisations can take regular payments from your account automatically.

  • The organisation you’re paying must let you know how much the payment will be, usually 10 days before it comes out of your account.

Direct debit account eligibility

You can set direct debits to be paid from Free Up, Now, Bill Blaster, Front Runner, Back-up Saver or revolving home loan accounts. A direct debit set up fee may apply.

Some accounts don't support direct debits. If you're using an Online Call, PIE Online Call, Notice Saver or Fast Forward Saver, you won't be able to set up direct debits from these accounts.

We no longer offer Now, Front Runner, Bill Blaster, First Saver, Back-up Saver or Fast Forward Saver accounts. If you currently have one of these, you can find the relevant information about these products on our products no longer offered page.
