Delivering on our purpose

  • 78,532 tamariki & rangatahi supported

    Through Banqer, we provided more young people with financial education to improve their financial futures.

  • $222.1 million sustainable finance

    We provided $222.1 million in sustainable finance, reaching 88.8% of our 2026 target of $250 million.

  • 3,120 tonnes of carbon dioxide equivalent

    Our emissions increased by 5% from 2025. We also published our financed emissions for the first time. Find the full details in our 2026 Climate Statement.

Laying the groundwork for long-term success

  • B Corp re-certified

    We improved our B Corp score to 101.5, a 12.4% increase on our initial 2021 score, using B Lab's assessment standards.

  • Strategic sustainability refresh

    Our sustainability framework better connects our purpose, Te Tōrea, environmental, social, and governance (ESG), and diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI).

  • 10 Northland locations

    We strengthened and reconfigured our physical footprint in Te Tai Tokerau, growing our presence to 10 locations.

Challenging the status quo

  • Ethnicity pay gap reporting

    We reported ethnicity representation and pay gaps for the first time to improve transparency around pay equity outcomes.

  • First to achieve advanced accreditation

    We achieved advanced accreditation through Human Fabric's Neurodiversity at Work programme, continuing to build neuro-inclusive capability across Kiwibank.

  • Rautaki Māori launched

    We launched our Rautaki Māori (Māori strategy), Te Tōrea, to strengthen our commitment to becoming the preferred bank for Māori.
