Buck's story
From the moment Buck entered the world, she knew she was a little different.
Most obviously, her wool was green. But Buck didn't just look different, she thought differently too. While others followed the flock, Buck kept looking elsewhere, for better paths, better possibilities and better outcomes.
She had drive. She had ambition and no real interest in carrying on with “just how things are done.” The more she leaned into what made her different, the more it became clear. Being different wasn't the problem — it was the point.
Then one day, Buck found a bank that saw the world the same way. A bank that didn't want to follow the rest either. A bank built to challenge the status quo and make Kiwi better off.
