This is Digital and Technology

Our Digital and Technology (D&T) team delivers and maintains all the technology capabilities for our business. This includes a vital role in ensuring the security and reliability of Kiwibank's digital infrastructure, cloud and data platforms. With technology underpinning everything we do, we work in collaboration with teams across the bank to identify and support new opportunities to deliver on our purpose and make Kiwi better off.

Digital and Technology has three experience hubs, each focusing on different technology and data capability. These are the Digital & Team Experience Hub, the Enterprise Experience Hub and the Foundation Experience Hub. These hubs work collaboratively to deliver our business and technology outcomes.

The day-to-day

Our Digital and Technology team is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing technology solutions that support our operations and enable exceptional customer experiences.

Some common activities of the D&T team might include collaborating with stakeholders across the bank to understand their needs and requirements, developing software applications or infrastructure components, testing and quality assurance, and supporting the deployment and maintenance of new technology solutions.

We stay up-to-date with emerging technology trends and assess how they can be applied to our operations. We also work on initiatives to continuously improve processes, enhance system performance, and ensure that the bank remains secure and compliant with relevant regulations. There are training and development opportunities available, including access to online learning platforms, attending relevant conferences and events, and participating in internal training programs.
