At Kiwibank, our focus is on doing what we can to support our team, our customers, Kiwi businesses, our communities, and the New Zealand economy.

Access to banking services

Customers can continue to access banking services via mobile, internet and phone banking. Our contact centres remain open with many of our team members able to work from home. Due to high call volumes wait times may be longer.


All Kiwibank branches, business banking centres, Kiwibank Service Agents and our corporate sites across the country will be closed to customers nationwide until at least Friday 20 August while Level 4 restriction remain in place and in Auckland and Coromandel for a further four days, until midnight on Tuesday 24 August pending further government announcements.


We highly recommend customers use contactless or point of sale services where they can. Our ATMs are operational and are being serviced and cleaned regularly, though in some locations, due to logistics and health and safety requirements, this may take longer than is usual. Like for any surface located in a public place, people should practice good hygiene habits when using an ATM.
