Why a term deposit?

  • Minimum $1,000 — maximum $5 million (contact us if you have more than $5 million to invest).

  • Terms from 30 days to five years.

  • PIE option available if you’re investing more than $10,000.

  • Interest paid out monthly, quarterly, six-monthly, annually or at maturity.

How it works

  • You can’t add or withdraw money once your term deposit is set up.
  • If you need to break your term deposit before the term is up, you’ll need to call us — the term deposit early termination charge depends on the amount, the interest rate, and how long the term has left to run.
  • When your term deposit matures, you can choose to reinvest it or have it paid out to another account.
