Alexandra Turcu joined the Kiwibank economics team in 2026. Her academic and professional experience involves deep empirical analysis, econometric modelling, and interpretation of complex datasets.
With a First Class Master’s degree in Economics, a First Class Honours degree in Law from the Auckland University of Technology, and many years’ experience producing rigorous, policy-relevant economic research, she is passionate about making sense of labour markets, social policy and all things economics.
