    Check you meet the eligibility criteria

    • You'll need to be a permanent employee or a contractor (employed for a minimum of six months) with one of the following Eligible Employer companies:
      • Kiwibank
      • Air New Zealand
      • NZHL
    • Your salary needs to be direct credited into your Kiwibank or NZHL-arranged home loan bank account
    • You'll need to provide us with proof of your employment with an Eligible Employer.

    Getting the benefit of your perks

    • Home loan and credit card benefits
      Benefits will automatically be applied once you've confirmed your eligibility, this includes when you get a home loan or credit card in the future, or make changes such as refixing your home loan.
    • House, Contents, Car and more specialist insurances
      Discounts will be applied when you get a quote and buy online using Tower's dedicated website, promocode or phone number where applicable.

    When the benefit has been added you’ll receive a confirmation letter.

Home loans

Love Your Perks home loan benefits are available for your personal banking purposes (not business banking products), including Kiwibank and NZHL-arranged home loans for Family Trusts and Limited Liability Companies where the eligible member (defined as an Eligible Employee above) is an individual who is responsible for the Kiwibank or NZHL-arranged home loan(s) and has authority to operate the account.

Ando policies

Kiwibank is no longer offering insurance through Ando. If you have an existing Ando administered House, Contents or Car Insurance policy that was taken out before 30 September 2024 you will continue to receive your current policy discount with Ando.

The important stuff

If you're an Eligible Employee of an Eligible Employer, as set out at the top of this page, under bullets 1 and 2, the following important stuff will apply.

What changes can we make?

  • If you’re no longer an Eligible Employee, the Love Your Perks benefits can be removed immediately. If you have an existing fixed term product (like a term deposit or a fixed rate home loan), you’ll enjoy those Love Your Perks benefits until the end of the product’s fixed term
  • We (Kiwibank) reserve the right to remove Love Your Perks benefits at any time
  • We (Kiwibank) may change the eligibility criteria, terms, conditions and benefits by giving you not less than 14 days’ written notice
  • We don’t need to give notice beforehand for a change to product features where we reasonably consider the change doesn’t substantially reduce the benefit of the relevant account, product or service. Instead, we’ll update our website to reflect the change when it takes effect (or earlier if we choose).

Unless you tell us that you’d rather receive communications by post, all communications will be delivered electronically (i.e., text message, email or through internet banking).

Your personal information

  • We take the protection of your information seriously. We comply with the Privacy Act 2020 and any other legal obligations we have relating to the protection of information. 
  • For details about how we collect and handle your information, please see our Privacy Policy. 
  • Telling us (Kiwibank) you’re eligible for Love Your Perks benefits means you give us permission to share your name, IRD number, member ID or staff ID number with an Eligible Employer to confirm you’re an Eligible Employee.

Love Your Perks member benefits are not available for business banking, or any other Kiwibank or NZHL-arranged home loan offer or benefit.

Joint accounts are eligible for Love Your Perks benefits provided the Eligible Employee is, and remains, a primary account owner.

By signing up to Love Your Perks, you’re asking us to apply the member benefits for all current and future eligible accounts/products. Love Your Perks benefits may take up to 30 days to appear on your eligible accounts/products. If you’re already a Kiwibank or NZHL customer and you have a fixed term product, the benefits will not apply until the end of the current fixed term (e.g., at the end of the home loan fixed rate period).

Home loans

Love Your Perks benefits apply to Kiwibank Home Loans and NZHL-arranged home loans. Kiwibank’s lending criteria, terms and conditions and fees apply. NZHL’s lending criteria, terms and conditions and fees apply.

Cash contributions may be available and are conditional on your banking relationship with us not changing significantly over a period of four years. If it does, we may require repayment of your cash contribution. You'll be required to sign an agreement with us setting out the cash contribution terms.

Air New Zealand Airpoints credit card

Kiwibank is the issuer of the Airpoints credit card. Kiwibank’s lending criteria, terms and conditions and fees apply.

Eligibility criteria apply to the multi-policy discount* and the Love Your Perks discount. Multi-policy discounts and Love Your Perks discounts will not be available if the premium is less than the minimum premium level. Each item you insure has a minimum premium threshold. This is the lowest premium that can be charged for that item. Discounts can be changed or cancelled at any time.

Discounts are applied to premiums on selective General and Specialist Tower insurance policies. The Love Your Perks discount is in addition to Tower’s multi-policy discount (if applicable)*. Both Love Your Perks and multi policy discounts are only applied to the Tower portion (the base premium) of your total premium and does not apply to GST and levies.
