Reset your online banking password

If you forget your online banking password, you can reset it using the mobile app or internet banking.

Mobile app

Before you reset your password, check:

  • you're entering the correct access number
  • caps lock isn't on, as your password is case sensitive.

    Send code

    1. Open the mobile app.
    2. If you've set up your security code, in the bottom left corner of the screen, tap 'Forgot?'.
    3. If you have not set up your security code, below the 'Password' field, tap 'Forgot password?'.
    4. Tap 'Reset my password'.
    5. Enter your access number and mobile number.
    6. Tap 'Send code'.
    7. We’ll send you a code by SMS to authenticate you.
    8. Follow the on-screen instructions to reset your password.

    Set new password

    Your new password must contain 6–15 characters including at least two numbers and two letters. Remember to mix uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers and special characters to make your password stronger. Avoid common words, names, or predictable sequences like “123456” or “password”.

Internet banking

Before you reset your password, check:

  • you're entering the correct access number
  • caps lock isn't on, as your password is case sensitive
  • your browser is supported. We recommend you use the latest version of Google Chrome, Firefox, Safari or Microsoft Edge
  • JavaScript and cookies are enabled.

    3. Enter your access number and mobile number.
    4. Click 'Next'.
