To open a Kiwibank Foreign Currency Account, you'll need to have a Kiwibank everyday banking account in New Zealand Dollars, and a minimum deposit of $500 NZD.

Depositing money into your FCA

You can transfer funds into your FCA through internet banking. – or by international money transfer if you’re overseas.

To deposit a cheque or bank draft, complete a pdfforeign currency account deposit form (PDF 21 KB) and send it with your foreign cheques or drafts to:
