Mentemia is designed by Kiwis, for Kiwis. Led by Sir John Kirwan, it’s packed with things that have helped his mental health as well as the latest, world-leading and clinically-backed approaches for mental wellbeing.

COVID-19 is already having a dramatic impact on New Zealanders. There’s never been a more important time to focus on our daily mental wellbeing.

With the support of Kiwibank, Mentemia will be free for the duration of this crisis. This complements our other work in the mental wellbeing space that includes Gumboot Friday and employee programmes with Good Yarn and Synergy Health.

The Mentemia mental wellbeing app

The Mentemia app has been developed by a team of technology, content and clinical experts and offers evidence-based tools and techniques that build and nurture greater wellbeing. It uses machine-learning, so over time, it gets to know you and is able to respond to your individual needs.

We’re helping Mentemia get this personalised mental health coach into the pockets of every New Zealander. Download the app for free today or read through the collection of wellbeing tips and articles.

We will get through this together

We’ve all been impacted by COVID-19. At Kiwibank, our focus is on doing what we can to support you, your whānau, our communities and our team as we live through this challenging time.

A big part of that is mental wellbeing. Looking after your mental health is so important in times like this, so we’re proud to partner with Sir John Kirwan and Mentemia to offer a free app to help support your mental wellbeing.
