Telecom mTopup™
Telecom's mTopup™ service lets you pay for airtime credits on your Telecom Prepaid mobile, straight from your Kiwibank account. Just send a text message and $20 credit will appear on your phone.
How it works
- To top up $20, TXT the word 'topup' and your password, e.g. 'topup 12345' to 8678.
- $20 will be moved from your chosen Kiwibank account to your prepaid mobile
- Telecom will send you a text message to confirm you've topped up
- Make sure you delete the mTopup text message you sent from your phone's outbox.
You can use mTopup™ up to twice a day.
The standard EFTPOS transaction fee (when applicable) will be charged for each mobile top–up payment you make. Telecom connection terms and conditions apply.
Vodafone HotLink™
With Vodafone's HotLink™ service you can use your Vodafone mobile phone to top up your prepaid mobile phone, or pay your On Account bill, straight from your Kiwibank account. You can even use HotLink™ to top up a friend or family member's phone.
Most Vodafone mobiles will work with HotLink™. To find out if your phone will work, TXT 'Kiwibank' to 262. This TXT is free.
How it works
- Select the sim2 'Vodafone' menu on your mobile
- Select 'My Account'
- Select 'Top Up/Pay Account'
- Enter the amount you want to pay
- Enter your PIN number from your Kiwibank EFTPOS card to confirm
