Cheque books
Cheques are handy for making payments, especially by post. Not everyone accepts cheques these days, so it's best to check with the receiver. And remember that it'll take three to five business days for the cheque to clear from your account from the time the payee banks it. They've got up to six months to do this.
If you need to make a more immediate payment, you could consider automatic payments or bill payments via phone or internet banking.

You can only order a cheque book with Now, Front Runner and Revolving home loan accounts.

To order a cheque book, call us on 0800 11 33 55, or visit your local Kiwibank. There's a cheque duty of $2.50 for each cheque book you order.
