The following are the limits that apply to standard Kiwibank home loans and Kiwibank Welcome Home Loans:

The maximum amount you can pay towards your fixed rate home loan, over and above your minimum repayments, without potentially incurring lump sum repayment fees or fixed rate break costs. 5% of the outstanding balance of your fixed component at the date of payment, less any other payments over and above your minimum repayments that you have made in the current calendar year during a fixed term. |
