Join the Kiwibank KiwiSaver Scheme online
You can only join online if you’re already a Kiwibank customer and registered for internet banking. If you don’t use internet banking, you can join by phone, or if you’re totally new to Kiwibank, you can join at your local Kiwibank.
Before signing up, you must read the

Transferring from another KiwiSaver scheme
- Log in to internet banking and go to Apply & Open
- Complete the enrolment form
- Leave the rest to us! When we receive your enrolment form we’ll notify the Inland Revenue so that further contributions come directly to us.
- We’ll also notify your existing provider and arrange the transfer of your funds. You may wish to talk with your existing provider about whether there are any fees or terms or conditions that apply to your transfer. We’ll send you a confirmation statement when it’s all sorted.
New to KiwiSaver
- Log in to internet banking and go to Apply & Open
- Complete the enrolment form
- Complete a KS2 form and give it to your employer so they know you’ve joined a KiwiSaver scheme
- Leave the rest to us! We’ll send you confirmation when it’s all sorted.

A disclosure statement required by law is available, free of charge, from your Kiwibank Wealth Adviser or on request by calling 0800 529 325.
