    Free legal advice through Legal Access Services (NZ) Ltd

    As a Kiwibank Home Loan customer, you can use a free confidential email service to contact a solicitor who can answer your legal questions.

    Solicitors who offer advice belong to law firms that are approved members of the New Zealand Law Society and Legal Access Services (NZ) Ltd's legal panel. They aim to respond within three business days, but may take up to five business days if your question is complex.

    Please note that further or ongoing advice from the solicitor, beyond the free contact and response provided within the scope of this service, may be subject to fees and a formal cost agreement between you and the solicitor.

    Free online wills through Legal Access Services (NZ) Ltd

    Many people die without having a will, leaving behind unnecessary hardship for their surviving spouse, family and friends.

    As a Kiwibank Home Loan customer, you can create your own legal will online in just 10 minutes.

    Use this simple online form to answer some quick questions to make sure the free Simple Will is right for you. You can then create your Simple Will.

  • Warm up New Zealand - home loan top-ups

    Kiwibank is proud to support the Government’s insulation and clean heating programme – "Warm Up New Zealand: Heat Smart".

    Under this initiative funding can be provided to help towards the cost of insulating or heating your home. For Kiwibank customers who qualify for the scheme and are approved for a top–up to their home loan, we’ll waive the usual top–up fee.

    One EECA approved scheme is Solarcity. This initiative is introducing solar heating for hot water into homes across new Zealand on a phased basis. It’s been rolled out in Nelson and Marlborough and further pilots are now being rolled out in the Southland, Gore and Invercargill areas.
