If you're an internet banking customer, log in and select ‘Pay & transfer’. Select the ‘Transfer’ box and complete the form – remember to set the frequency of your payment (e.g. every month). If you're not yet an internet customer, download and complete the
automatic payment authority (PDF 37 KB) and send it to us. An automatic payment will transfer the amount you specify to your credit card.
Your payments are applied to the outstanding debit balance of your credit card account in the following order:
There's a quarterly inactivity fee of $15 when you don't use your Kiwibank MasterCard Zero at least once in each consecutive quarter (ie every three months) after the date you opened your credit card account.
With a joint credit card, both cardholders are responsible for paying any balance owed on the account – so you'll both need to pass a credit check when you apply.
Additional cardholders have no authority over the account – they can't make changes and they're not responsible for paying the account balance. However, they can make purchases, do balance transfers, load their own PIN and set up their own internet and phone banking. We don't perform a credit check on additional cardholders.

There are a few things you should do when transferring your credit card to Kiwibank:
While Kiwibank credit cards are accepted at hotels, motels and car rental agencies, you should ensure that your available balance is 15% greater than the purchase amount.
From the day you check in or hire your car, the merchant will hold the expected purchase amount plus 15% until you complete the transaction. After you complete the transaction by paying the purchase amount, the merchant will continue to hold 15% of the purchase amount for up to 10 days, to cover any expenses picked up at a later date, such as toll calls, mini bar expenses or property damage.
Transfers are subject to your Kiwibank approved credit limit. Interest will be charged on the amount you transfer from the date the transfer is processed. If the amount requested to be transferred exceeds your credit limit, Kiwibank may process a lesser amount up to your credit limit. Important conditions and exclusions are set out in the
policy wording (PDF 336 KB). Kiwibank MasterCard Gold Travel Insurance is arranged by Kiwibank and is issued by TOWER Insurance Limited.
