To apply for a Kiwibank MasterCard you must be at least 18 years of age, a New Zealand resident, and have a good credit history.

To activate the cover, simply use your Kiwibank MasterCard Gold or Platinum to purchase your overseas travel and/or accommodation before leaving New Zealand.
