Air New Zealand’s Airpoints programme is a rewards scheme that lets you earn Airpoints Dollars™ that can be used to pay for flights, car rental, hotels and more.

Plus, with a Go Fly Credit Card, you earn Airpoints Dollars every time you make a purchase using your card (excludes cash advance and balance transfer). Visit www.airnz.co.nz/airpoints for more details.
If you aren’t already an Airpoints member, we’ll set you up as an Airpoints member free of charge when your Go Fly Credit Card is approved. If you’re already an Airpoints member there’s no need to join again, just enter your Airpoints number when you apply for your Go Fly Credit Card.
grabaseat greenlight deals™ is where you’ll find Air New Zealand’s cheapest fares. The deals are only there for a day or until sold out so it pays to visit the site often.
Exclusive access to grabaseat greenlight deals™ is available to Go Fly Credit Cardholders every Thursday - we call this Go Fly Thursday.
To access these fares, just log in to Kiwibank Internet Banking and click on "Go Fly Thursday", or log in at myairnz.com every Thursday and check out the exclusive fares available throughout the day. If you see one you want, just book it the way you would any other Air New Zealand online fare.
Redeem your Airpoints Dollars faster by combining them with up to four of your nearest and dearest (up to two of them may live at a different address to you).
Before you can set up Airpoints Family, you’ll need to apply and be approved for a Go Fly Credit Card. As the primary cardholder (Nominated Earner), you’ll become the head of the family (Family Enabler), and will be the only one who can invite people to join the Airpoints Family.
To create an Airpoints Family, click through to myairnz.com from Kiwibank Internet Banking, or log in at www.myairnz.com, then either:
Once you’ve created an Airpoints Family, you’ll be able to invite new members from the Airpoints Family page in myairnz. Anyone who’s invited will need to confirm that they want to be part of your Airpoints Family and share their Airpoints Dollars with you and the other members of your Airpoints Family.
When you first invite someone to join your Airpoints Family, they won’t be able to spend Airpoints Dollars from the Airpoints Family balance. The Family Enabler can select whether or not to make an Airpoints Family member a “Family Spender”, which means that anytime they pay with Airpoints Dollars, they’ll spend from the total Airpoints Family balance.
The Family Enabler can remove people from the Airpoints Family and any Airpoints Family member can leave the Airpoints Family at any time. When an Airpoints Family member leaves or is removed, they take any of their remaining individual Airpoints Dollars with them.
| John | 200 |
| Sally | 200 |
| Sam | 50 |
| Lizzy | 25 |
| Total | 475 |
A family has 475 Airpoints Dollars - Sally and her husband John have each earned 200 Airpoints Dollars by making purchases on their joint Go Fly Credit Card and travelling with Air New Zealand. Their children Sam and Lizzy have 75 Airpoints Dollars between them, earned by flying on Air New Zealand flights.
The family books a flight for Lizzy to come home from Otago University to Wellington for a weekend, requiring 430 Airpoints Dollars. With their combined total, they have enough for the flights, with 45 Airpoints Dollars left in their Airpoints Family balance.
When paying for the flight, the oldest Airpoints Dollars are used first.
Jordan and his girlfriend Kelly are both regular flyers, and earn extra Airpoints Dollars making purchases on their Go Fly Credit Cards. Jordan has earned 520 Airpoints Dollars, and Kelly has 300.
Jordan has to go to Melbourne for a conference, and they decide to use their combined Airpoints Dollars to fly Kelly out to meet him and spend the weekend in Australia.
Her return flights cost $723, plus $140 in airport and government costs. They use their combined Airpoints Dollars to pay for the flights, and Kelly pays the additional $140 using her Go Fly Credit Card (Airpoints Dollars can’t be used for any taxes, levies and surcharges that are not included in the published fare).
After booking her flights, they have 97 Airpoints Dollars left in their combined fund.

You can use your passes at domestic and international Koru Lounges (owned and operated by Air New Zealand) here and overseas – you’ll find a list here.
When you use one of these passes to access a Koru Lounge, you’ll also need to show your Go Fly Credit Card and boarding pass.

Your Koru Lounge pass can only be used on the day, and at the airport, that your Air New Zealand flight is departing from.
