Sweep
Make sure you always have money where you need it. You can choose to automatically sweep money to or from different accounts when they reach your chosen minimum or maximum amount.
You can use Sweep with Now, Front Runner, Bill Blaster, Free Up and Back-up Saver accounts. With Bill Blaster, you can only sweep money into the account, not out — this helps you keep money there for your bills.
How it works
You select a minimum and maximum amount to keep in your everyday account. Everything over the maximum is automatically transferred (swept) into your other nominated account. This helps you save and earn maximum interest, or keep money aside for bills.
If your balance falls below your minimum, money is swept back from another account, so there's always enough for your everyday expenses.
Sweeps occur at the end of each day.
Dynamic Sweep
Dynamic Sweep is a variation you can choose that operates in real time. This means that if you don't have enough money in your account to make a payment, Dynamic Sweep will take the money straight away from your other nominated Kiwibank account, such as your savings account.
You can use Dynamic Sweep with Now, Front Runner, Bill Blaster, Free Up, Back-up Saver and Fast Forward Saver accounts. With Bill Blaster and Fast Forward Saver, you can only sweep money into the account, not out.
