• You'll get a terminal to accept card payments — either freestanding, or connected to your electronic cash register or POS system.
• You can also get a payment gateway so you can accept credit card payments on your website or over the phone.

What it costs

There’s no cost for accepting debit card payments. For credit card payments, you’ll be charged a portion of each transaction you accept. This is called an interchange fee, and the amount depends on the type of card being used to pay.

What you’ll pay EFTPOS New Zealand to have the terminal depends on the type and number of terminals you need, and the number of transactions you put through.
