Under this service your supplier's bank will send the shipping documents to us. We'll then release them to you under the terms described by the supplier's bank.
If you're importing goods, a letter of credit provides your supplier assurance of payment. We can issue a letter of credit that guarantees payment to the exporter, providing their documents comply with the terms and conditions in your letter of credit.
Convenient if you regularly send and receive money from overseas, available in US$, AU$, EU€, GB£ and JP¥ and you can earn interest on these accounts too. Current market rates apply.
To help manage your currency risk, through Kiwibank you can book an exchange rate for a fixed date in the future. This service is available in US$, AU$, EU€, GB£ and JP¥.
