Interested in sponsorship?
Thanks for thinking of Kiwibank.
Applications for our sponsorship programme for the July 2011 to June 2012 year are now closed.
Sponsorship criteria
Sponsorship that Kiwibank considers needs to:
- reflect the idea of ‘Kiwis helping Kiwis make a difference for New Zealand’
- be accessible to all New Zealanders
- engage New Zealand communities on a national and local level
- be aligned with Kiwibank’s brand and values (Do what's right, Go further together, Raise the bar, Make it easy)
- provide an opportunity to engage our staff (including PostShop staff)
- support the future of New Zealand
- be measurable.
We’re especially interested in ideas that have a real ‘Kiwibank attitude’ about them. What do we mean by this? At Kiwibank, we’re continually looking for ways to challenge the big banks and their old fashioned thinking. We try to be first where we can, we like to do things differently, and we don’t accept that just because that’s the way it’s always been done, that’s the way it always has to be.
Exclusions
The sponsorship won’t:
- be currently, or have been previously held by another large brand that may still have strong associations with it
- have potential for any negative impacts on the environment (e.g. motorsport)
- conflict with our Code of Responsible Banking – e.g. links to alcohol or gambling
- include hand-outs for hobbies, personal interest groups, sports teams, religious causes or political causes
- be for organisations and/or events based outside of New Zealand
- be for naming rights of buildings or properties.
- be for events that aren't accessible to everyday New Zealanders
- be for products, like bags and pens (to keep our costs down we don't produce these on a regular basis).
