Kiwibank wins sustainability award

Kiwibank has won the Emerging Large and Corporate Business Award in the 2009 national NZI Sustainable Business Awards.Kiwibank acting Chief Executive Paul Brock described winning the award as “recognition of all the hard work we have done within Kiwibank to ensure we are sustainable in our business, for our people and in the environment we work in”.
The NZI National Sustainable Business Network Awards recognise achievements by organisations of all types and sizes in the embedding of sustainability in day to day business operations.
The annual awards are designed to recognise true trailblazers, as well as organisations that are emerging in this area, who are operating in a way that: enhances economic prosperity, environmental quality, and social equity which have a multitude of positive flow on effects.
