Kiwibank and AMP offer managed funds

Kiwibank and AMP Capital Investors (New Zealand) Ltd. have announced that they are working together to offer a range of managed funds.Kiwibank Chief Executive Sam Knowles said this was an important new development as the bank grew and added to the range of products and services it offered.
“Kiwibank already has a wide range of deposit accounts and has PIE accounts that provide tax savings for people in the higher income brackets.
“This new arrangement enables customers to invest in funds that cover a wide range of sectors including local and international shares, property and cash providing a diversification strategy for long-term investing,” Mr Knowles said.
Mr Knowles said AMP Capital is one of the most successful operators in the New Zealand funds management industry, and recently was named Morningstar Fund Manager of the Year (2008). AMP Capital also took out the top prizes in fixed interest and multi sector categories and was a finalist in the New Zealand equities sector.
“The development of the relationship with AMP Capital is important for Kiwibank as it continues to establish and implement holistic wealth development, including advisory services."
The portfolio includes Conservative, Balanced, Growth and Responsible Investment Leaders Balanced Funds.
